The Almond Vineyard sermons are available as a podcast.

In case you're wondering, the content of the podcast is no different from our current sermon archive. All of the podcast audio you can download is exactly the same files as listed in this archive. The podcast merely simplifies the process of getting the latest sermon onto your computer for your listening pleasure. Once you have "subscribed" to the podcast, new sermons are automatically downloaded to your computer as soon as they become available. Once they are on your computer, they are like any other MP3 file. You can move them to an MP3 player (i.e. iPod, iRiver, Rio, etc.) or you can burn them to CD and listen in the car, whatever you like…

To use the Almond Vineyard podcasts, you will need 2 things (neither of which is an iPod!):

  1. You need a program to open the podcast for you. iTunes is the most popular, and certainly the easiest to use when it comes to subscribing. If you have iTunes installed, go to step 2. If you don't have iTunes installed, click on this link, download and install! Alternatively, you can use many other "RSS readers".
  2. You need to subscribe. First, right click on this link, then select "Copy Link Location" (if using Firefox; if using Internet Explorer the phrase is "Copy Shortcut"; Safari says "Copy Link"; other browsers may have other phrases). Next, open up iTunes. On the "Advanced" menu, choose the "Subscribe to podcast" option. Right-click in the box that opens up and choose "Paste". Click "OK" and that should be you subscribed to the podcast. The most recent sermon should download automatically.
